SHADOW PLAY/custo barcelona hoodie

I know you can't see a lot of detail in these pics, but if you could I wouldn't be able to title this 'Shadow Play.' I love this Custo hoodie...reminds me of Spain oh so very much. I have really been on a hoodie buying streak lately. I even just received another in the mail recently. I will post it soon, but before I do I'm already thinking of a pair of Cinzia Araia shoes I need to add to my wardrobe

HOT TUB TIME MACHINE/jack and jones sun jacket

When I saw this 80's inspired Jack and Jones jacket I had to have it. But unlike the movie Hot Tub Time Machine, I didn't travel through time to be standing on some snow covered mountain peak like John Cusack in Better off Dead...Don't be fooled, I do believe in time travel and if I wear this jacket enough it may just happen.

...Now where did I put my Zack Morris phone?

LEGEND/custo barcelona hoodie

Do you remember last year when there was this unbelievable heat wave that struck the New England area? I was in New York with Amanda during that time for the McQueen exhibit at The Met. I don't think that there are any words possible that can describe McQueen's work. Seeing pictures or video of his shows cannot even compare to what it was like to see these amazing pieces up close. One after another, I was reminded of how I felt when I saw these pieces in his shows and I was even more speechless being only mere feet away from them. I'll always remember that experience each time I wear this Custo Barcelona hoodie that I bought in SOHO on that trip. I like the rough edges and unfinished hem of this piece. The 2010 Fashion Night Out tee and Desigual distressed denim is a nice way to complete the look along with Rock and Republic studded high tops.

New York 2011, it's not the sweltering heat, power outages or the hot air being blown in my face as I walked into each store that I'll remember...it will be the unbelievable experience of seeing the works one of the greatest designers that has ever lived. R.I.P. McQueen.

CYBER/future punk

I really like this look. Akira (nerd moment) came to mind while selecting it, like I'm part of Kaneda's gang in NEO-Tokyo. The motorcycle denim, the boots and jacket just really seemed to work. I felt it needed the RAF goggles, so the surplus store down the street really came in handy.

Nothing better than making your own belt bag... I saw pics of some crazy packs that were being worn in Japan and all I could think about was making one of my own. So, I found this old German military pack at the same surplus store. I originally used it for my camera on a recent trip to Spain. I'm just getting started on it, but the addition of the fox tail is a nice touch.
