H&M is such a great place...If you think of it, they probably have it! The pieces you can find there are amazing, but the collaborations they do with such well known fashion houses are even more amazing!

Here I am wearing more MMM for H&M. I love this key ring necklace! After Amanda bought one, I had to have one too...and with this being such an unpopular collection in Denver I was able to snag this at an unbelievable price. I just can't believe that people weren't  fighting in the streets for such impeccable pieces! Oh well...

If you have been reading the blog then you know that I found this military jacket on my recent trip to Iceland...It's funny, I travel all the way to Iceland and find a vintage jacket from the Valley Forge Military Academy. After replacing a few missing buttons this jacket happens to be a great find! I really like the red stitching detail along the sleeves, epaulettes, collar and the arrows along the back. The details are subtle, yet amazing!

I like garages...There's something so dark and brooding with them. I like the cold cement walls and the florescent lighting. It creates a mood that for some reason I can never get enough of. Sure maybe shooting pics in one falls in the "Been there, done that," category...but, for me I could do it all day long and still find something just so awe inspiring.

HOT TUB TIME MACHINE/jack and jones sun jacket

When I saw this 80's inspired Jack and Jones jacket I had to have it. But unlike the movie Hot Tub Time Machine, I didn't travel through time to be standing on some snow covered mountain peak like John Cusack in Better off Dead...Don't be fooled, I do believe in time travel and if I wear this jacket enough it may just happen.

I found this military jacket in a really great store called Kassetta on our recent trip to Iceland. It's like it was meant to be...I traveled all the way to Iceland to buy a vintage jacket from The Valley Forge Military Academy.

And how cool is this skull tee?! Can you really go wrong with a skull?...actually, I'm pretty sure there's a skull gone wrong out there. But, if you are in Iceland definitely check out Suzie Q found around the corner from Kaffibarinn.

I stumbled upon these boots while searching for a pair of vintage MX boots. These were such a great re-hash of the vintage style that I was looking for and I finally broke down and bought them. The Elsinore boot under ICON's One Thousand line is a serious boot! I like the metal heel plate and buckles, the stamped leather shin has replaced the metal shin plate of yesterdays MX boots. If you haven't seen ICON's One Thousand line, it's definitely worth a look...it's as if someone has finally seen the beauty in the wasteland...thank you Mad Max.

Another zara scarf? Sure...but this one I was purchased in Madrid and every time I wear it, I'm reminded of that that trip. It was that last minute trip that took us to Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid, that I realized...Barcelona is my home. I loved it there! The tee is a find that's courtesy of My Habit.  

I have to say that this Labor Day weekend has been great! I finally have resurrected my bike and she's running better that ever. So, I've spent the past days riding around and enjoying every minute.  Now it's project time round 2, FIGHT! I have been envisioning my bike being transformed into this hybrid cafe/street fighter. And now it's time to get to work!

Suffering from the affects of jet lag and allergies...waking up in middle of the night I've passed the time drinking wine and marathon episodes of Star Trek Enterprise provided courtesy of an Amazon Prime membership that after the free trial I forgot to cancel. But, I can't complain as I've enjoyed the free 2 day shipping on purchases and now I can access a huge library of movies and shows streamed directly through my PS3 in glorious HD. So, now unable to sleep and feeling the affects of multiple glasses of wine, which is not having the effect I wanted because I just want to sleep; I emerged from my loft to bring these pics that Amanda and I took over the weekend. The jacket is by Jack & Jones which I discovered in Jeans & Co., a store in Geneva, Switzerland. It wasn't until sharing drinks at a great pizzeria overlooking Lake Geneva I realized that I must have it. Amanda and I braved a torrential downpour for me to be able to transact and make this piece mine and now I share it with you.

Hang out with Dollhouse Vacancy and this is what happens...Sweet little headband hoarder...whatever! Just for the record I like my 3 hats and I am not jealous of not having a room full of headbands...could you see me in one? I'd look like a newborn bald baby with bow on their head. Is it really serving a purpose? My favorite hat is this Russian one. This isn't one of those surplus store finds here; this is from a Boss Unlimited, an awesome vintage store here in Denver. I'm sure this hat has a story to tell as it has the date of 1984 stamped in it along with some writing. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what it says. The other two hats are by Brixton and Desigual. The Desigual fedora was a freebie for going on a shopping spree in the store on a trip to Barcelona...Score!!

I purchased this leather jacket when I was in high school. Sure, people laughed, but who's laughing now! These jackets are a hot item...I guess I was just way ahead of my time. So, after the walk across the stage and the whole cap and gown, here it is again and surprisingly in great shape. The jackets have been made popular again, by designers such a Marc Jacobs. Speaking of Marc Jacobs, I have this great Stinky Rat shirt thanks to Amanda from her trip to Las Vegas.



It's sad that Rock & Republic will not be what they used to be. When I read an article describing how they filed for bankruptcy and were bought out by another company that is placing them in Kohl's...I couldn't believe it. A lux denim brand now selling for $4o a piece. Should they even still be called Rock & Republic? I just want to go out and purchase some Rock & Republic denim so that every time I wear them I can remember just how great they used to be. Pouring out some of my liquor, " This is for my dead homie..."

PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC/rock & republic studded high tops

I've been dreaming about these shoes for a while. These studded high tops are awesome! They bring me back to my youth, as I haven't worn high stops since I was a kid. They are a bit strange to walk in...kind of like a ski boot, but who cares when you have studded shoes like this!

The jacket was found in a flea market in Barcelona, Spain. I couldn't believe all of the great finds as I passed one booth after the other, Amanda pointed out this great vendor. For 20 Euro this jacket was mine. I like the worn in look and the great patches that adorn it.

The shirt has a story of it's own. On a trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico, a short stop in Taos yielded this awesome shirt. As I'm sitting in a boutique reading the latest issue of W magazine while Amanda was purchasing every great piece in sight, the owner walks up and asks if I would like this shirt. Score one for me! She tells me that it's a new designer from Japan. She only sells women's clothing and if I would like shirt I could have it. Amanda walks into the store buys everything in sight and gets a bill; I walk in sit down read a mag and get a shirt...doesn't get better than that! I love this shirt as the design has a great way of saving us from the mundane printed tees out there today.
