BULLETS OVER BAMBI/marc jacobs cuff

I'm not one for jewelry... in fact, until recently (the last few years). This is all new to me and the funny thing is, I'm wearing all that I own in this pic! I'm not into really into rings as I've owned a few and each was lucky to stay on my finger longer than a day before ending up in a box never to be seen again.  But, I have taken an interest in some of those double finger rings... and I will admit that I'm really into cuffs...now that's something that I could wear all the time!

You won't find me in gold...just not really a fan, but Lovebullet's Bullet Bracelet is the closet thing to gold I'll ever get!

Check out Bambi at Dollhouse Vacancy here. SEE/femme.

THE FUNK/nono muaks kick eyes glasses

Inspired by a pirate patch and 80's electro disco...that's right up my alley! I love the 80's. I can hear INXS and Human League right now...Wait, I'm sorry, that's Rick James- "Give It to Me Baby" playing. Well, that's Nono Muaks Kick Eyes glasses. So, maybe they aren't protecting you from UV rays, but who's thinking about that when you look so cool and funky!

IT'S A WRAP/hip and bone linen tee

Another zara scarf? Sure...but this one I was purchased in Madrid and every time I wear it, I'm reminded of that that trip. It was that last minute trip that took us to Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid, that I realized...Barcelona is my home. I loved it there! The tee is a find that's courtesy of My Habit.

I have to say that this Labor Day weekend has been great! I finally have resurrected my bike and she's running better that ever. So, I've spent the past days riding around and enjoying every minute.  Now it's project time round 2, FIGHT! I have been envisioning my bike being transformed into this hybrid cafe/street fighter. And now it's time to get to work!

NEON BLOCKING/zara scarf

I always spoke about needing a fedora and then on our trip to Paris earlier this year, it seemed as if everyone was wearing one! So, for an accessory that cost less than 10 euro...I bring you this spring/summer color blocked look.

...and yes, these pants come with their very own force field, how else do you think they stay so white?

EVERYTHING MOSS/diesel houndstooth jacket

These Paper Denim jeans have been through some rough times. I've worn them into the ground as they are one of my favorite pairs. There's just something so comforting about them, plus the fit is great!

This Diesel jacket doesn't see the light of day very much. I'm not sure why, because it's such a great piece! With a little time to kill before a Diana Krall concert, Amanda and I happened to stop by the local Diesel store. To our surprise the store was having a huge sale as they were moving to a new location. Whether or not you can consider moving from one side of the mall to the other a big move is beside the point. The fact remains, we scored a great deal on some Diesel pieces. Sadly, this event has never been recreated...

Will the real Kate Moss please stand up... wait, you are and you're on my shirt. I found this cool tee at Urban Outfitters. Cotton tee, triptych print of Kate Moss topless...SOLD!

LET THE MUSIC PLAY/juicy couture wax denim blazer

I like this look...usually I dress this Juicy Couture wax denim blazer up, but as it has started to show signs of wear, I like dressing it down with my favorite pair of denim, this Diesel polo and Kenneth Cole pony hair shoes...I think the shoes are just "pony" because the hair is starting to fall out. The Brixton hat is a nice addition... I've been wearing this hat for weeks like it's the only one I have or something.

I love these retro styled Pioneer headphones. I'm an audiophile and if I could I would drown out the everyday noise with music...and if you have to do it, may as well do it in style. I like mixing modern with a bit of retro styling and these headphones definitely make a statement. Unlike (*cough* Beats headphones) I admit I laugh inside each time I see someone wearing them. Come on people, isn't it about time people starting making decisions on their own without thinking that things are cool because that celeb tells them it's cool. I have a pair of Urbanears that I've beaten into the ground from wearing them everyday. One word to describe them'"Awesome!" when I'm on the go it's the best way to hear the music. Until next time, keep listening.

CYBER/future punk

I really like this look. Akira (nerd moment) came to mind while selecting it, like I'm part of Kaneda's gang in NEO-Tokyo. The motorcycle denim, the boots and jacket just really seemed to work. I felt it needed the RAF goggles, so the surplus store down the street really came in handy.

Nothing better than making your own belt bag... I saw pics of some crazy packs that were being worn in Japan and all I could think about was making one of my own. So, I found this old German military pack at the same surplus store. I originally used it for my camera on a recent trip to Spain. I'm just getting started on it, but the addition of the fox tail is a nice touch.
