3D DIGITAL/maison martin margiela belt jacket

Grab your 3D glasses because this post will be as though I'm right there with you! Each shot is in IMAX 3D...actually, I'm joking, but if you do have some old retro red and blue 3D glasses and I am in 3D, let me know. I just wanted to add a cool effect to these pics. 

It's really been getting cold here and I thought that I could be just as cool as Rodarte by playing with knits and leather to stay warm. I like the unconventional mix of materials as those Rodarte sisters are brilliant! 

Considering the world didn't end on the 21st, I suppose we should all begin to prepare ourselves for 2013...where the heck did 2012 go? I have plans for 2013, so bring it on!

 Who needs a moon boot when you can have a space boot?! The moon is in space and space is infinite...Sorry, Napoleon Dynamite, you've just been one up'ed. I feel like I have been transported back to 1985 and I think Human League is playing in the background...Yep, it is! I just bought these Raf by Raf Simons demin and Forfex shoes courtesy of Yoox. The Jack and Jones jacket was bought from Jeans & Co. and with it's retro look, completes this 80's interpretation.

I purchased this leather jacket when I was in high school. Sure, people laughed, but who's laughing now! These jackets are a hot item...I guess I was just way ahead of my time. So, after the walk across the stage and the whole cap and gown, here it is again and surprisingly in great shape. The jackets have been made popular again, by designers such a Marc Jacobs. Speaking of Marc Jacobs, I have this great Stinky Rat shirt thanks to Amanda from her trip to Las Vegas.



It's sad that Rock & Republic will not be what they used to be. When I read an article describing how they filed for bankruptcy and were bought out by another company that is placing them in Kohl's...I couldn't believe it. A lux denim brand now selling for $4o a piece. Should they even still be called Rock & Republic? I just want to go out and purchase some Rock & Republic denim so that every time I wear them I can remember just how great they used to be. Pouring out some of my liquor, " This is for my dead homie..."
