WARPED SPACE/house of howe

I don't wear this blazer much...I even dusted it off for this post. This House of Howe blazer has this really cool lining made of an old tee, which is really cool! Guess, I should have taken a pic of it.

I received some great news today; 1) my pre-order from Luisaviaroma has shipped today, so by the end of the week I will have some pieces that have been my latest obsession...now, if I could just get a hold of one of the Alexander McQueen visors, I would be set. 2) I read an article that scientists are working on a warp drive engine.  Amanda thinks I'm crazy believing this is true, but she's a person that doesn't even believe in time travel...and she calls me crazy...

MANUAL SHIFT/zara man cowl neck

Who doesn't love a great car...it's interesting to think about what may be important to someone when looking for a car; gas mileage (I don't care..), safety rating (whatever!), all I know is it better be European (sorry, can't help it I grew up in Germany) and it better be a manual. I tried the 'auto' thing and it just doesn't work for me. Autos and I just don't get along.

This shirt is great. I found it at a Zara in Paris. I like the exaggerated cowl neck. There's so much fabric I can pull it over my head like a hoodie. I did and when I saw that I looked like some bald alien there was no hesitation in deleting those pictures. The pants are some old familiars. Can I say I'm tired of these pants? No, because they are just some of my favorites.

THE NEED FOR SPEED/flight suit

OK, so have you seen the G Star denim coverall? It's a whole lot of denim, but it's kind of cool...Well, here's my interpretation, just when you thought the military movement was over, here's some more for your viewing pleasure. G Star, I'll see your coveralls and raise you a flight suit. This piece was packed away in a box as it was used last year for Halloween...warning, major nerd moment ahead...that's right, I was a Ghostbuster! No, not that cheap blow up pack from those pop up Halloween shops; I'm talking about a real Ghostbuster that could rival what was in the movie. But, that's another story within itself and a year in the making. Let's get back to the flight suit. Sure, I can see people saying it may be crazy, but is it really? Pajamas are the hottest craze right now (SEE/femme) so why not this? Maybe it's not denim and it doesn't have a G Star logo on it (although I'm surprised they haven't already thought of slapping their name on the leg of one of these suits and calling it a day), it's the next best thing. Dress this flight suit up with a button down, grab your favorite pair of sunglasses and you're set for a tower fly by Maverick!
