"Standard issue street soldier..." If you have ever see The Chase from the 90's then you know what I'm talking about. Henry Rollins was actually pretty funny in a movie that wasn't setting any box office records. But I have to give credit where credit is due, any man that can get it on with Kristy Swanson while leading cops on a high-speed chase towards the Mexican border, definitely has skills...I tip my hat to you Charlie Sheen. 

I've always wanted some camo pants and I must admit that I have been pushing off that purchase until I saw these Jordan Craig cargo pants courtesy of Jack Threads. But if you are looking for something to hide you in the sprawling urban jungle then look elsewhere...I can still see myself in these pics...

Lately I've been feeling a bit of 80's nostalgia coming on...I even spent one day this weekend playing old school video games; Pac Man, Tron, Star Wars Arcade. If you are ever in Denver you can find all of these classics at Punch Bowl Social...good food and games...you can't go wrong with that! 

I bought this 'Only in America' tee by Deter a few weeks ago; and I love it! But, I love these sunglasses by Replay Vintage even more! Every time I wear them I'm transported back in time as though I'm cheering on Emilio Estavez trying to reach level 13 in that movie Nightmares...and so what if I've only worn these glasses twice, I still feel like I'm transported back in time when I put 'em on!

I'll share with you a glimpse into my world...actually, it's my place! I love this 2 bed room minimalistic slice of heaven.  Decorated with large album posters, self made art and raw, hacked furniture...I live in an cool ambient lit industrial space. One of my favorite pieces in the Akai GX 27OD-SS reel to reel given to me courtesy of my dad. 

I'm not saying that Amanda and I are different, but I feel like every time I walk into her place I should hand her a ticket to which she tears the bottom, hands it back to me and tells me to enjoy the show. It's not much of a home...I go from room to room taking pics with my smartphone only to return to my friends and tell them how great the show was.

No, I didn't get this sweater in Iceland... I found it on super sale at h&m for $20! I know it does look very similar to the sweaters that you could purchase in Iceland...and yes, you read that right, this crazy Maison Martin Margiela sweater was found at h&m for $20! It was brutally cold for a few days here in Denver and this sweater was my best friend. While it kept me warm I could only think about how I can't believe I scored this for so cheap.

I scored this Margiela cuff at H&M for $5...that's right $5! You can't pass up a deal like that, so I purchased a few more pieces between $15 and $20. The Deter tee I'm wearing cost me more, but its super cool...so, no complaints here!

I'm digging the retro look of these Replay Vintage sunglasses. For some reason I have really started to find inspiration in things from the past. Clothing, music, movies...Now where is my copy of GZA's Liquid Swords?

REPLICANT/blade runner style umbrella

This shoot is inspired by Blade Runner, one of my favorite movies. The constant rain and the advertisement of  starting a new life in an off-world colony constantly playing just adds to how bleak the future has become in the year 2019.  Ridley Scott with the help of Syd Mead,  created a masterpiece of a retro inspired future that was way ahead of its time. If you haven't seen this movie...it's a must!

I found this hat in a vintage store and couldn't pass up the chance to own such a cool piece of history. This isn't your typical store find...This is an authentic Soviet Ushanka and it even has something written in Russian along with the date of 1984!  Every time I wear it I feel as though the cold war is still on!
